Ava rolled over last night for the first time! She has been doing it all day, whenever I lay her on her back. The only problem is, once she rolls to her stomach, she gets mad because she doesn't like to lay on her stomach. She lays there and cries until I roll her onto her back.
She then immediately tries to roll back onto her stomach, and the process continues.

I LOVED THIS! I was talking to the computer as I watched it! "Come on! You can do it! You got it! Come on!!" and then when she did it I yelled "YYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!" and threw my hands up in the air like she could actually hear me...
ReplyDeletethen I started talking to you as though YOU could hear me..."Jessica! Cheer!?!?! Say SOMEthing!"
...
Also - I LOVE her facial expression after she gets all the way over... "well, now, this sucks. What do I do now?!"
Ryleigh used to do the same thing - she'd roll over - and then get mad about it - and I'd have to have conversations with her trying to explain to her that if she didn't like what she saw when she flips over, then to quit doing it. No sense in getting MAD at the floor because YOU flipped over and don't have anything else to do now!" I rememeber laughing at her so hard time and time again because it was like - as soon as she would get on her back she'd INSTANTLY flip over - VERY similar to when you place a magnet upside down on a bigger magnet and it immediately whips around at the speed of light to be "right side up" ...yep that was her...but then she'd be SO ticked off like it was completely out of her control and she was mad at the world because IT made her roll over.
Funny. SOOOO so funny!
:) Awe. Gooooooo times!
